The tip on the turbo is rusted. Will a shop weld a new tip (not the chrome cover, the piece inside it) to my old muffler?

or should i swap mufflers with the S2, which is a few years old. cant hurt the resale of the S2 much since the value is between diddly and squat right now.

anyone near denver have a muffler in nice shape FS. I can swap the S2 muffler into the turbo and put a nice used one on the S2.

I recently had a muffler shop weld a new pipe on the rear of my muffler. It took them about 20 minutes and they charged me $20. You'd have to use an aftermarket tip though.

says the same part for 944, 951 and S2 on pelican and one of the generic internet stores.

For $20 i will probably let the future new owner of my S2 have the muffler that goes with the receipt in the pile of records i have for the S2.
