Well.... There's a clamp around the valve(screwdriver or 13mm spanner), then there's the awkward plug on the far end. You could probably get to it, but I don't like your chances.....
Don't be too scared by taking off the inlet manifold. It's not too bad! Make sure you've got a good 6mm Allen key for your socket, and Don't remove the injectors from the rail. If you do it like that, there's no fuel mess at all! Remember to lubricate the injector O-rings before you put it back, or you may squeeze them and end up with a leak! Oh, and there's 3 'hidden' bolts. One on the dipstick tube, one on the rear end holding on the O2 sensor clamp, and one at the front. If you have a stock airbox, then you may have to take the cover off to get to that one (but I don't remember....)
