LOL, let's stay on topic here. Just trying to get the basics on what I would need to connect the engine to the drivetrain. I can figure out the engine management and mounting.

Would it be easier to use the volvo clutch system somehow, or to connect the porsche flywheel/clutch to the engine?

use the Volvo clutch setup and bell housing if it is separate.

The volvo has a cable clutch not hydraulic, correct? I know my 240 had a cable clutch and an extremely weak clutch at that. I would figure a way to use the Porsche one if it is not hydraulic.

Dunno, Just got the volvo, all of my previous 740T's have had automatics! Going to take a look this winter.
