Post Dash lights won't turn on! help

well,i was trying to get a cd from the cubby underneith the cd player and this was before i turned on my lights(night time).all of a sudden i see some sparks,i immediately took my hand out of there.i was like WTF!?!?i took out my flashlight to see what caused this and it was the boostgauge wires, the pos. and neg. wires.dumbass PO didn't tape the wires off and they were exposed.i guess it touched something metal and when i turned on my lights, my dash lights don't turn on.does anyone know what happened?fuse?bulb?any help will be appreciated.thanx

I think it's fuse 34 you'll need to check, but I'm not positive.

There is a guide on the fuse box cover.
The fuse box is under the hood by the cowl on the drivers side

Is your licence plate light out too? I'm pretty sure they are the same fuse (check your fuse box map), so if they're both out, it's a blown fuse. If not, it's something else.
