Please someone develop and market a solution to the @#$$^ sun shade latches that keep breaking on everyone's cars.

Aluminum, Metal, better plastic. I don't care just make them please. KLA you listening.

What you mean the little triangular whoosy-whatsits with three screws right above your head. Someone already has.

Can't remember who. Someone remind us so I can link to it.

Mine just aren't there, so I can't say if they are good or bad!

Remember that it was on the front page. You could try going to the Porsche page on my site www.sidv.org and do some searching. Know I've seen them.

Sid, searched your site and Rennlist archives and found nothing about a better product. I hope it exists.

Anyone, anyone? Bueller, Bueller?

I got replacement ones, and they are actually softer plastic than the original ones so they should last a long time. Got them from performance products or tweeks or something.

Uh oh you are talking about the parts nearest the windows, not in the center by the rear view mirror right? I got the center ones because my old ones shattered..

i never had a problem with them in either of my cars, but i took my sun visors out now anyway... my windshield decal is lower than the sunshade anyway and i could use that extra 1/2 inch of helmet clearance heh

That's a sunroof piece. I'm looking for the visor hooks. Thanks though, I guess I'll have to go to the dealer.

I'm not clear on which you're talking about. The ones by the rear view mirror or the part with the 3 screws? If its the ones by the rear view mirror, those basically get brittle with age. New ones, OEM, are fine and like $3 each.

The ones by the rear view mirror. I know they're cheap but they're made that way too.

I did a cheap fix to mine.
Loosen the screws on the broken clip enough to slide a zip tie between it and the headliner, tighten the screws, then tighten the zip tie around the visor post. You can't swing the visor to the side anymore, but it won't flap around anymore.
