Well its been about a month since I posted with this problem,out of the blue my car just started running like crap,running real rich and would not idle.After suggestions from many Rennlisters I checked all vacumn lines,changed spark plugs,changed the fuel pressure regulator and nothing helped.Today I took it to my mechanic and after a while he calls me and tells me they found the problem,the air fuel meter took a dump!!He said there was no way to fix the old one but he found a good used one so the price won't be too bad,I don't think I would have found that in a million years.As a reference,my car has aprox. 145,000 miles and I believe this to be the original,hope this helps someone in the future.Happy Holidays <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" /> <img src="graemlins/wave.gif" border="0" alt="[byebye]" />

Glad to hear they found the problem! I finally got my idling problem fixed in my S2. Vacuum hose was toast. Been chasing that problem for about 8 months! It's nice to fire her up now and not worry about it dying.
