I pay apprx $1000 per year in Norway for my NA. That's for 5000 miles per year. This insurance will cover anything that may happen. The deductible is $800. It also covers the use of a rental car for 14 days.

My Toyota is half the price and half the deductible for the same insurance.

Does this mean that if you cause injury/damage for over 200K/1mill you will have to cover it yourself?

Yes I believe over a million and I owuld be on my own. I would hate to see what they would charge me for 2 million liability. Is there no "ceiling" on your liability coverage?

Take notice of this thread. Those of us in America do not currently pay accident ins. thru our cars for accidents to the individuals driving the cars. Cause we have health ins. which we pay dearly for. Canada has a different health plan. The latest thing now is that our health plans are not going to cover car accidents anymore. we will be required by law to start paying this ins. premium with our car ins. There plans seem high. but they do not pay $500 dollars a month for Health care. On top of there car insurance...

our health care sucks (in BC) form what it was, but it's still better than 99% of the states.
