Here is my question...The A/C recirc button controls a solenoid valve, that in turn allows the vacuum source to the vacuum operated actuators that in turn move a couple of flappers, allowing fresh air to enter the car.
The source of vacuum,is it common to the brake booster as the vacuum source for the fuel system??

The HVAC gets it's vacuum from the little plastic connection on the brake booster hose.
All systems (fuel, HVAC, brake booster) use the same vacuum generated by the engine.
