Post Cibie Lenses

They are going to roll in, in volume. Before New Year's. If you want them put you order in and RUN!

And I have the cable ties for up on the firewall. Much less than Brian's Porsche cost of 2.50, or whatever. These are for PeterBilt. If they don't take it the American trucking industry is going under.

For you Europeans that may not catch this, PeterBilt is the best truck/cab in the USA. I suppose Paul will argue about this point, but not much.

Clint, I have had a standing open order for Cibie lenses for the last year, maybe 18 months.

Looks like they might finally come in when I pick up the phone to Order.

Peterbilt is a seperate hard to buy issue. Wire ties that cost less than $1.80 each from Porsche. And the LittelFuse CablePro.

I was just happy with all these items falling in place like a Christmas present. I feel like a kid in a candy store.

SO, all you guys that wanted to start out the lighting trail in small steps with the Cibies first, you can now have them. Let me know and which bulbs you want, the high performance 60/55 watt or 100/90 Big Boyz.

I'm sure I want a pair. If I go with the 100's, will I need to change the harness now. I need to do this one step ($) at a time. All I know is my stock sealed beams SUCK. I run them on high beam always, and nobody seems to mind. Therefore, proof that they SUCK. I WANT BRIGHT!!
Tell me what to do, when to do it & how much to send. ($$$Here we go again$$$).

Where are geting the CIBIE lenses from??? I've been looking around for only the lenses as I am setting up my own headlight wiring. How much are you asking for them? (if you are selling separately...)

The Cibies are coming out of Valeo in Paris.

Danno set up a page for me on his GuruRacing site and you can go there for the prices and background. Just click on the Light Upgrade button on the left hand side.

http://www.gururacing.net

The page is under construction and he has some wrong facts on the wiring harness we need to clean up. The harness usually pops your lighting output about 400%+ not 10 to 25%. It is pretty easy to measure objectively so I am not blowing smoke up your **** on this.

Those pictures on Guru's site are by my customer Ben S. in NoCal and are for the Cibie lenses and 100/90 watt Narva bulbs, alone. No harness or voltage regulator upgrade. With the harness, etc., you would pop up quite a bit more, like over 400%. Just ask the guys that have installed the "Full Boat" kit.

I think the Full Boat is about the same as true HID arc on the new bimmers and benzes. We get there by using a heck of a lot more current and shorter bulb life. But we get there, and for cheap.

Drop me a note at wraydan@msn.com if you want to buy some of components. Now that the Cibies have come in I can sell you anything you want and no rationing.
