So I went and checked the motor thing out. And the sunroof gears dont move up, or down. My motor is working fine, but it isn't spinning the drive shaft. My sunroof gears are basically brand new becuase the PO had installed new ones before he sold it to me. To check out the shaft, do I need to remove the motor, or remove the whole thing?

The clutch is probably too loose. Check Clarks Garage for the adjustment procedure.

I finally got it! Still have some problems though, and broke two things in the process of fixing. The drive wire was hardly in the motor thing, so I manualy turned it till it was all in the motor. Then I clicked the sunroof switch and the arms started to move. I got the left arm to grab tightly of the sunroof, and it pulled it down (kinda half *** grabing it though), but the right arm wont grab anything becuase the clip it's supposed to grab on is broken. It's on tightly enough so it wont lift up anymore, and thats all I really care, lol.

I was rolling on the highway and I hit triple digits and the sunroof was trying to fly away. Dont worry it wont go anywhere. Just looks cool. But I fixed that problem with RTV around my sunroof seals. If you decide to fix it RTV will come right off easy.

I've never had any issues with my sunroof popping up at high speeds, but that may be because the seal probably doesn't seal at all and enough air leaks out that I don't have any issues with the pressure differential.

That could be. Funny thing is I can get it about 10 mph higher before it pops up if I turn the air recycle on. The last time it popped open it hurt my ears so bad, they rang for 3 days after.

I have trouble following some of these SR popping up complaints. I've driven at 140 mph with my manual latches in the tilt-open position and the SR is pushed down not up. I won't drive above 125 with the windows down or cracked, it's a sure way to get that wupp-wupp sound as air tries to pop your hatch open. With the manual latches in the closed position it's tighter than a...on second thought I better not go there.

Don't know, maybe I could be wrong, but after rebuilding the drive system on my roof, I love it.. a nice afternoon on my back and the top works like a charm, I open it almost daily, and take it off when I get the chance...
