who here has a throttle cam?, worth it or no?
several people have told this is a worthwhile little improvement, not sure as ive never riden in a car with this, who has it and is it worth it?

I have it and I like the reduced effort to rev the engine since I practice heel and toe every once in a while. But then again I got mine from parts cars and did not have to pay for them. I would recommend getting used ones to save money.

Yes, its worth while. If you are at all handy in the garage and have a drill and a small amount of patience, you can make one for yourself out of your existing throttle cam. All you have to do it drill one hole at a different position on the cam, and then reinstall it with the different orientation. I will post some pics of mine sometime next week (after I get back from a business trip) if anyone is interensted.

I have one and don't really care for it. It makes the pedal harder to push because of the new shape of the wheel. Not quite as accurate throttle response.
I had one on the car for a while, then went back to stock. I like the feel of stock much more.

I can't see how you say it makes it less accurate Michael. I think the exact opposite happens.
KLA Industries has them for a good price, 20 something bucks I think. That's the cheapest I've seen them for. www.klaindustries.net

They are not necessary on the 951 / Turbo because they already have a constant radius throttle cam. If you are looking to buy one new, here is a link.
