I will be buying blizzaks for the 944 this winter and see how that will go.

I just can't put the 993 through winter.

yes. it is great in the snow so long as the snow isn't higher then the bumper. Then you start to get some problems.

btw cc: did you drive your e36 m3 thru any winters? if so how was it compared to a 944? (if you have ever driven 944s thru winter)

1) why does it look like your hatch glass broke?

2) 944's are awsome in snow, drove down a hill last yr in 3"(nice curvy hill) behind a mustang and s2000, lets just say i almost had an accident from hitting them when they spun. and had no issues going back up that same hill and the driveway like 20mins later.

3) if it's a black 944, u'll hate salt

I went to a few used car dealerships, and a few said they don't even think they can take it as a trade in ( time of year / age ). But I went to one where the owner seemed very interested, I said I'm firm at 4 for trade in, and told him what I'm looking for. After talking for a bit, it turned out he also has an E46 M3... so from there it went pretty well. I'll be expecting a call back from him, but if nothing sorts out soon. I'm going to be forced to put the $650 set of blizzaks on the car. Like Keith said; having the wider tires in the rear is a pretty big disadvantage ( 9.5's ) and I regret not keeping the cookie cutters, but at the time I had no way of keeping them and was moving to SF in less than a week. (I just gave them away to a friend with a VW bug project) those would have been nice to have now

Tires Plus Store
580 W Trenton Ave
Morrisville, PA 19067
(215) 428-6800

Closest one to you is only 120 miles away!! If they are like the rest of the Tires Plus locations, they are selling all of thier in stock WS50 Blizzaks for $39.99 to make room for new stock. I used to run the 9 stores in the Omaha area and my old asst. mgr. called and told me about the sale. Maybe worth a call!!

arent those late offset wheels on the car you got on that picture?

I have a set of 2" spacers that will fit the rear I can throw in.
