Yes the T56 is in the viper. This is what I want to go with because it is cheap and can handle a ton of tq. The question is what is need to get this to work.</strong><hr></blockquote>

Luke you beat me to it, no wonder you have more post that I do, but yeah what on earth are you planning on doing to that 944.

HaHa

You guys are not going to make it easy for me.

The car is still sitting in winter storage in NH so I was hoping I could get the dimensions online.

Any websites that would have this info?

I just went out to the back yard and measured my 6 speed tranny: ~27" long, 15.5" high, 13.5" wide. Now I'm going to weigh my Ruf Speedlines...

PorscheG96 you the man!

Thanks.

If I go with a 968 6-speed which will bolt right in. Can someone like powerhaus turn it into a 6-speed fully sequential transmission?

Yes it's an 86 NA for $1450 and runs great. Will be parting everything off the car to get my $ back. Going with GT racing 951 widebody(lighter=faster). Would like to go with CF but not worth the money to me. The nose will be a 951 OEM so I don't crack a FG one. Big reds, coilovers, 500 rwhp NA SBC, etc. Looking at $35- $40,000 but it will be a supercar killer at a fraction of the cost.

Why not just buy a Z06? Do the math. To get a Z06 to even come close to running with my dream(right now) car you would have to replace suspension, brakes, body, etc, etc, and this is on a very expensive car to start off with.

Resale you say. Sell engine on ebay and sell 951 with 6-speed seq, coilovers, brakes, etc, as a roller on rennlist.

I know I know. I'm just very defensive since every porsche guy I talk to laughs @ my dream car.
