Post fiberwerks front end...

I'm seriously considering a fiberwerks front end after messing up my stock one. I'd like to hear any opinions of those who have put them on. How is the fit? how close to ready do they come, how do they turn out overall? thanks!

Thumbs up

Do not even THINK about listening to the most negative, bitchy person on this board...G96 that is!!! He has never even seen a Fiberwerks nose in person, yet he's willing to give it a thumbs down...F*&! YOU G96!

I have just had my Fiberwerks nose put on and the shop said that both the fit and finish were very easy to work with. The front end looks GREAT and I am just waiting for them to wet sand the rest of the car and then get a complete detail done. I'll post pics soon.

TaboII has one as well and has good things to say as well...Shoot him an e-mail.

And don't be such a ****-head kid G96...

Come on, guys! Styling changes are very subjective and everyone is entitled to an opinion. I say go with the turbo/s2 look because its very nicely done but its just an opinion. Don't take offense.

ok, I am really leaning towards the fiberwerks front end, i think it looks great, what are peoples opinions, should i get it, or keep it stock, either way i have to spend the money because I had a little mishap. The 968 front end look alike is not an option because I can't afford to buy the lights for it. Also does anyone know TaboII's email?
Thanks,
Ryan

Cool

Opinions are like A%$ holes. Everyone has one and yet some of them smell worst than others. I suppose negative comments are expected by at least from some of the current persons posting on this site and of course they are entitled to their opinions. However, to give negative comments on any product without any explanation as to why they dislike or like the product is rather rude and dare I say childish! Of course we have come to expect certain persons Like “Proscheg96”, to continuously and expectedly be negative in most situations. However, not everyone can be expected to be pleasant or even posses a responsible attitude toward those who participate everyday life. In any case the bottom line is… I own and happen to like my Fiberwerks front end completed and installed about a mount ago. I have had nothing but good comments from everyone I have met especially the Porsche people. This front end is not only functional but IMHO “VERY” stylish and not “RICE”. Though I have to admit it does not completely follow the traditional Porsche lines it “IS” reminiscent of the C4 cup and other Porsche racing front ends in the past. SO, to make a long story a bit shorter, If you like the front end from Fiberwerks, there is nothing that should stop you from attaining it “GO FOR IT. Order soon, as there is a few weeks backlog on the product. You then can join in with the relatively few of us who now own this very unique and stylish front end. Not to mention get a product that was designed and built in the USA. I say go for it, you will not be disappointed, and there will be those who will be jealous and or envious that your car looks so much better than a stock 944 n/a “IMHO” and yet does not parade around pretending to be a turbo which we all know 944 N/A cars can’t stand up to a turbo on a pure power point. But we can stand shoulder to shoulder with them from a heritage and prestigious standpoint. That's what owning a Porsche is all about? “Pride of ownership”. SOME OF us don’t get that fact. Right “PorscheG96” I have a few not so good pics up on my site and will be happy to send you more if you would like “Porsche85944na” and I am sure that Jeremy “My944” will be happy to send you pics of his, we each have one of the two types available. Mine is vented on the sides and Jeremy’s is not. Personal preference. In any case I am sure you will not be disappointed. Good luck and enjoy what ever you decide. If you like call Carl at Fiberwerks, he would be happy to answer any questions or give you any advice himself. He is an awesome person to work with.

Good luck and see you out on the highway some day.

You know it is pathetic that most of us sit here and read this garbage.

You fibrewerks proponents are not any better than G96. Someone asked for an opinon, and he gave them his. It was a simple thumbsdown, he didn't start running at the mouth like some of the people who use this board as their own personal soapbox.

Why doesn't everyone just relax and not take every word that gets posted here so damn serious.

Reread the original post... [quote] I'd like to hear any opinions of those who have put them on.

PorscheG96 has nothing pertinent here, but would rather be the instigator...

You're right...open forum, open opinions...

Here's my opinion. If you do not like it, then post about it. That's what a forum is for.
