Post 944 Performance Cam?? (ebay)

I have never heard of people using different cams in a 944 to help performance. What do you guys think of this?

The high bidder, "ismokehondas", was the bidder on that "200 hp 944, faster than a turbo" a couple weeks ago.
Other than that, there are indeed a few companies making cams for 944s.

Companies that make performance cams for 944:

Go to PAECO. They have a number of "high performance" goodies for a number of marques.

No affiliated; just knowledgable

Cheers!!

Jon Milledge and Web Cams both make high performance cams for 944 applications. Milledge does 3 grinds for both NA and Turbos. Here is what they claim for the mild NA cam:

Performance Hydraulic
Best power band 3600-6500rpm. 900rpm idle. .475" cam lift(In & Ex.) with stock base circles for drop in performance. Uses stock or 944 Turbo valve springs for best results. Motronic chip must have rev limit raised for best results. 12 - 18bhp over stock camshaft with stock exhaust. Needs 40 psi basic fuel system pressure with Motronic at click 1(base click = 0). Tested and proven better on the dyno against most well known competitors camshafts.
