Engine swap : 944S2 -> 924S
I have a 924S with a bit worn engine and I have a two choices an engine rebuild or an replacement engine. The cheapest and reasonable good condition engine is 944s2 engine. Could that be direct swap and what difficulties to expect??

Buy yourself the newest Exellence (Akateemisesta,luulisin)and find the page where you can order previous issues.Exellence #99 (Feb 2001)
has an article with pictures about the swap you're planning,pages 134-140.
And join the Porsche Club Finland right away,if you already haven't....!
And,about the swap,the author says that it's quite easy,hardest part being installation of the air-cleaner box.Then there's something small with cooling,fuel,exhaust and engine electronics.If you get the magazine,you can avoid the deepest pot-holes in the way!

I just bought my first porche and i hope to got it registered in the beginning 2003. You the finnish customs arent too fast with car taxes these days. I'll join to club , no worries ...

So they have no online ordering too bad !!
If some one could scan that section of the mag for me and email , i 'd love it because i think my subscription will take too long to get all the way to finland. If someone has that mag in finland I'll by it straight away !!!
