Default FS: sub box for 944/951

Hi guys, I'm gearing up to get out of the porsche game for a while so I'm selling my car audio stuff and replacing the rear seat in my car. I won't be selling the 951 until after this school year is over, and I will be getting another 951 in the next couple years, but for right now its time to get a slightly more reliable car (yes, I made the mistake of buying a cheap 951), as well as one that is more comfortable for a couple people to ride in, has a trunk and just more space in general. I am sticking with German though, I've got my sights set on an '01 740i sport, I really really love those e38s, and that last year was the best one. But I digress...

I've got a real nice subwoofer box that fits in place of the rear seat; its made to hold 2 8" subs. I had a couple Soundsplinter RL-i8s in there powered by a PG xenon 600.1 (I've got this amp for sale on a car audio site, but if anyone here is interested PM me and I'll give you some more details on it) and they sounded freakin awesome. Price: $100 + shipping, this is half what I paid for it, and the construction is top-notch.

Here are some pics:

I can measure it tomorrow for you, but I do remember that when I had it shipped to me (from NY to TX), it cost ~$50 via UPS ground.

Yeah, that's what I was figuring. It might be best I just make one. I made a rear seat delete in my daily driver but it serves as a storage area like the 968 Cab box. I was thinking this might be good for my S2. I still have my old templates for the area and MDF is much cheaper then the shipping...lol

Thanks for the quick reply and good luck, I'm sure someone will grab it up.

aeronautica86,

Did you sell it to somebody else?
