Post Two questions about the board software?

Is it possile to make "E-mail notification" checked by default? I always forget to check it and most boards allow you ot turn it on by default. It's very annoying. I odn't see an option for it in "my profile"

What about custom avatars? Dont' see an option for that either but looks like some of you have figured it out.

Can't help w/ #1, but #2 is a member perk. If you are a member, John D. will hook you up with a custom avatar and the red "Rennlist member" under it, if you ask him nicely.

Most importantly, it means you are helping to pay to keep the servers running. This site wouldn't exist without members, and you can't tell me you can't find $18 worth of tips and advice here in a year.

IMHO, what doesn't it do for you? Practically everything except my laundry.

Also, IMHO, my Rennlist membership has been worth more to me then my PCA membership, which was I think twice as much. I still will continue my PCA membership, but you should definitely add Rennlist to that equation. Rennlist and PCA - it's like peas and carrots.

What DOES it do though? Nearest I can tell offers parts discounts. I like the PCA track events and autocrosses, they certainly carry more weight with me.

I think John D. (Rennlist Webmeister) would describe it as a non-profit business

Along with the avatar and "rennlist member" moniker - you get an "@rennlist.com" Email address (POP and On-Line accessible) AND - you get a http://members.rennlist.com/yourname domain with 170MB of serverspace (currently - size increases regularly).

For a full list of benefits, and some other very compelling reasons to become a member, check out the member page:

https://rennlist.com/members.htm

Special prices from sponsors, discount off rennlist logo items, and enhanced listings in the classifieds area are some of the other things it "does for you".
