Default It was five years ago

yesterday that my first 89 944S2 was stolen from the train.

So, to comemorate that day I bought another 89 944 today.
Pictures to follow in about two or three weeks when it gets here.

I will see how far apart the vins of the four 89s are.
The S2 will be on the market in a few weeks. I want this one here before I let the S2 go. Unless somoene makes me an offer i cant refuse.

Here is one the seller sent me.

Not only have you get em down, but i think either a part from one of yours is in every one of mine, or a part from one of mine has been in yours. Lets not forget my brother's 84 beige that I found for him with 32k miles in '00.

Yep, its velvet. I think ill call it velveta.

The banks are driving me nuts. Ing only lets you wire $5000 a day, and Citi only lets you wire $1000 a day. We agreed on a price last friday. The money took till tuesday to be in the Ing account. The seller and I had to iron out some details and i wasnt sending any $ till we got them settled. That was yesterday. I started transferring $ yesterday and will transfer more tomorrow. Till it is in the sellers account and available I cant have the truck pick up the car. So now i am going to arrange for it to be picked up say wednesday. Then wait, and wait, and wait. Then file a claim with Geico for damage in transit. Then wait, and wait....

How do you know you need to file a claim for damage in transit?

That's crazy!!! Last year when I hired to inspect and bring a 355GTS back to Green Bay, the local mom & pop bank up here had no issues wiring $75k. Took about 30 minutes for the funds to show up.

New car looks very nice, good catch!!

thats because you went into the bank. ing is a bank in the clouds, and citi is my NY account. if i went into a bank im sure it would have been simpler.
