Me, divorced 41 yrs old male with one chargeable ticket on my record.
'84 944, $547/yr, $500 deductable
'86 951, $532/yr, $500 deductable (no, thats not a misprint, its cheaper...)
'92 968 cab, $740/yr, $500 deductable, limited to 5k miles a year.
'91 Harley, $323/yr
Two recommendations for y'all... get a Valentine One if you drive much at all, and fight ALL tickets. It makes a difference.

Me: 28, single, male (it matters), 0 tickets (I'm a human radar detector).
'03 Acura RSX-S: $1,083.29/6 mo., $500 deductible, 12000 mi/yr
'87 Porsche 951: $436.32/6 mo., $1000 deductible, 1000 mi/yr
But what really matters:
AZ (75% of the US's red-light running deaths, #1 in car theft, top ten in uninsured drivers)
I live half a mile from 7th St & Bell, the 4th worst intersection in the US.
$884.19 when I remove the Acura from the policy.

Over 28 female, paranoid about tickets; $600 a year, comp/collision, medical, with uninsured motorist. No, I do not have the car covered, mostly because I'd waste money with full coverage, and with people like you all with parts, I'm not worried.
If it gets broken, I resurrect it.

Age: 20
Car: 1987 Porsche 924S
Plan: Liability
Cost: too much. (about $150.00 a MONTH!)
Driving record: 1 speeding ticket, 1 month after purchasing the Porsche. 1st ticket in 4 years.
I hate my insurance. when we put comprehensive on the car, and my dad as the primary driver, the cost didn't change.

23 year old male, 13 tickets, 8 in state, 2 accidents, my record is absolutely spotless for the last three years.
$2000 and dropping with Progressive, no collision, no theft, $300k coverage..."4 seater sedan"...
Piece of advice: Don't give your son a fast/expensive car when he turns 16, but make sure it's stick, and make sure it's not depressing...Volkswagen Rabbit, Jeep CJ/Wrangler, old 3-series, oldass Audi Quattro...Anything but an automatic 1979 diesel Mercedes station wagon with a crappy stereo, and no turbo....The antichrist.

Male, 25
'87 951, 86 Buick Century, '96 Yamaha FZR 600
-1 speeding on file
-1 driving without insurance, 1 driving under FRA suspension (same ticket as the no insurance, I got screwed in every orafice on that one)
- 1 fire on file (rate did not increase!!
- Progressive 50/100/50
$2250yr, drops to $1750yr in October when I hit 26. Lower again shortly thereafter when the speeding ticket gets booted.
Called today about a possible rate change. I am going to have a valuation done by PCA soon, and hope to see it in the $25-30K range. Same Progressive coverage, but an estimated value of:
$6760 YR!!!!
Then, I asked to replace it with a 2003 Cobra, value at $29k.
$2376 YR
Someone wanna tell me what the hell is with that? Same value, sports car, yet the Porsche would cost me $4k more?
I am supposed to talk to a district manager Tuesday to see what is up with the drastic change. Something is not right there.
