Post question

i posted on the turbo boards about a 944 that i found for 800, turbo of course. they say pick it up. its got its problems but the guy said he had it running, so i feel i could get it running. anyway, my question is, ive found another 944, just a regular 86. 140,000 miles, ac work. says he will take 3000. only way he will let me drive it is if im serious about buying it. i wouldnt be asking if i didnt want to buy it.

That seems a tad pricey to me. Well, a turbo for 800 bucks sounds to me like trouble. That would probably need major major work to it. It would probably be cheaper to find a well taken care of 951 with service records. That way you know what you're getting yourself into. Good luck!

Not sure what yo're question is. Should you get either? Need more information.

Like I said before, Id put my money if youre willing to spend that much anyway, into a better serviced car. You'll be thanking yourself later, trust me. All depending on how much you have to spend, of course. If you only have 3k then ask the guy about the service records and such and make sure it is in great shape. Hope that helps!

My suggestion on the turbo board was to buy the $800 car, now it won't be a driver but it is worth more to have as spare parts or you could sell parts from it and make much more than $800.

Good Luck
