Default 924S/Karmann Ghia

My cousin called me up who is a Drag Racer and asked me if I was dumping any 924/944s. I told him I am in the middle of stripping one and he ask me if he could have the rolling chassis. I asked him what he was going to do with it and he said he wanted to drop a Karmann Ghia body on top!

There should not be too many problems since the KG and the 924S are about the same specs. He will probably have to play with wheel widths. He said he is going to mount a Fiberglass front to take care of getting to the engine easily. Since we both are race car builders this is going to be a interesting project if it goes through.

Wheelbase: 94.5" for both
Front/Rear Track:
KG = 51.8"/53.5"
924S = 55.9"/54.8"

It's been done -- we recently had a thread on it. The ebay ad with pictures are still available.

Sounds like an interesting project -- good luck!
