If an alignment is $100-150, it will pay for itself after two times you utilize it. Plus, the saved time, effort, better mood you will be in, more skin will still be left on your knuckles, and less dirt and crud will have fallen into your eyes and mouth. I do wish it was cheaper.

I put one on my daily driver and I have noticed no issues. It is great and the fact that it makes a 12 hour job into 3 is worth it.

Any chance another group buy can be organized? How was the last one done?

I would definitely be interested in a group buy as I want one on my Spec 944 for easy access to the oil pan and rod bearings. I just finished parting an early 944 and have an extra cross member that I can sell as a core to someone if they want to get it before they have to drop theirs.

I'd be in for a group buy if someone organizes one.

Two years of some pretty hard drive time, no track, and the alignment marks are still good.

It's one of those things the factory should have done.

I can call Lindsey Racing in two weeks (next week is month end close at my company) and ask about group pricing. The search came back with a post back in 2004 and it seems like someone here organized it.

I know the BMW guys have a vendor forum where forum sponsors offer deals for a set time period. Maybe Lindsey might be able to do it.

I've got a lower crossmember out and sitting on my garage floor - ready for the core charge.

Out of curiousity, do we need moderator approval before a group buy can be set up? Can a moderator chime in to be sure? I also noticed stock motor mounts on Lindsey's site. Is this something you guys need too?

I would ask a mod for sure. PM Randy V.

I don't need motor mounts.
