944 Turbo PCA Time Trial car for sale
I have this 951 for almost 10 years. It started out as my daily driver. I started PCA time trial (9 years ago) shortly after I bought this car. Over the years, I have turned this daily driver into a well sorted track car.
Here are some highlights of major work done over the years.
1) The engine
- completely rebuilt (top and bottom) by Kensportech about 3-4 years ago.
- Cylinder head is purchased from Powerhaus. It is ported and polished with racing valve springs.
- Recent head gasket (metal type).
- New pistons, new rings, rebuilt crankshaft and baffled oil pan
- Powerhaus K27/6 turbo charger
- Autothority MAF and chips
- Lindsey boost enhancer
- Set at about 14lb boost
- Adjustable fuel regulator
- All fuel lines and vacuum lines were replaced at the rebuild
- About 3 time trial seasons after the rebuild. The engine is bullet proof.
2) The transmission
- rebuilt with new syncros
- Guard GT Torsen LSD
- brand new axles on track event ago
3) Suspension
- Koni sport shocks all 4 corners
- Ground control 400lb coil over springs front
- Gound control camber plates
- Blazzak reinforced A-arms
- 986 M030 30mm hollow front sway bar
- 30mm torsion bars rear
- Weltmesiter 22mm adjustable rear sway bar
- corner balanced and 4 wheel alignment by Roger Kraus Racing
4) Interior
- 90% gutted
- Autopower roll cage
- Recaro SPG racing seat (driver)
- Corbeau racing seat (passenger)
- G-Force 6 point harness (2-3 year old)
5) Chassis
- A/C deleted
- head lights deleted
- Fan motor deleted
- Lexan rear hatch
- estimate 2800lbs or lighter. I had 4 corner balanced before I removed all these items. You should do corner balancing again
- orignal paint job. The front nose paint is a little faded. But this is a track car.
6) Exhaust
- Bursch cat pipe (I still have the cat)
- 3' custom cat back exhaust: Flowmaster with bent pipe for Laguna Seca. Straight 3' pipe with no muffler for all other tracks (not shown)
7) Wheels
- Stock phone dials 7x17 and 8x16 with Toyo RA1
8) Brakes
- Cool air brake ducts
- Cross drilled front rotors (2 events only)
- Hawk Blue pads all 4 corners
- Stainless steel brake lines
- ATE Blue racing brake fluid - replaced after every event
The car is at the peak of its performance. I also have a well setup street/track 996 and I am planning on building a Spec Boxster. That's the reason why I am selling the 951. $10500 obo for quick sale. Please email me for build sheet. racer_951@hotmail.com

The color is silver greyish. Not sure the actual factory color code.
By the way, I just paid rennlist annual membership. Not sure why it still shows my user name as "user" instead of rennlist member. May be it takes a few days to change the status.
Thanks for reminder. I am aware of the membership requirement to post ad. I do respect this policy. Thanks

Thanks roman944.
Yes, it is a funny looking exhaust. But for Laguna Seca (92db sound booth on the right hand side after turn 5), it works great! It directs the sound away from the sound booth.
I run a 3" straight pipe with no muffler for all other tracks. I post pictures later without the funny exhaust.
