Actually forcing cold air down onto the exhaust could be a bad thing in more than one situation, A turbo car needs the exhaust to retain as much heat (energy) as is possible to maintain top boost performance (horrible on the 951 as the turbo is on the opposite side of the engine, this is why exhaust wrap and ceramic coating is so popular) and not sure how these cars respond, but if the exhaust stream is allowed to cool off too much, you can cause the car to fail a smog check by not allowing enough heat to reach the catalytic converter, which like the turbo needs the heat to do its job properly... not preaching, just adding my .02...

My Audi turbo car actually mounts the turbo to the exhaust manifold about 3 inches from the head, and wraps the whole shebang in a heat blanket to retain as much heat in the exhaust stream as possible, cool exhaust moves slower, and will transfer less energy to the compressor side of the turbo... More energy transfer = more boost = more horseys making their way to the pavement...

Wish I had a turbo, I would gladly give up the hood.

i think 931 hoods only fit right on an N/A if you want to put the vent on a turbo you have to fab it or get something aftermarket

Stock 931 hood. I have a strut brace so I notched the lip for the duct opening underneath. (does not hurt anything). I also welded up the windshield washer holes as I have no tank anyway. I drilled the lift support brackets off my old hood and welded them to this hood so I could use hood shocks. I will reposition the cruise control motor when I have time. It will be mounted to the strut tower.
And for you that did not notice on the steering wheel pic...that's my stealthy V1 remote display in the middle of my gauge cluster.

Antonio, you can buy my extra 931 hood and our cars can be twins!
