Post 944 clutch replacement

I just replace my clutch on my 944 How do we do the final set up

I position the bolt glued on the flywheel for the reference mark sensor faces down .I use a short drive shaft to center the clutch disc. After that I mount clutch housing with all bolts.

Do I need to check something else, I did not put back the transmission yet. I would like to be sure everything is ok. I push the clutch pedal and I try to start the car but a funny noise happen.

Thanks for your help

Me and my dad (well my dad basically) did a clutch change on his 951 a while back. The thing he did was he checked the clutch actually engaging right. Meaning, if you don't have the tranny installed you can turn the transaxle shaft thing or whatever its called and have a helper (that was me) slowly engage the clutch. THat's all I know. Me not having a 944 and all ...

Oh and another thing I just remembered... My dad or me or someone managed to drop a bolt into the flywheel housing, so once he started the car he stripped off the sensors on the flywheel and the car would not start.
