whats the point of the little ducts, perhaps rear brake cooling ducting? or is it just aesthetics?

they just look cool! i suppose you could make some tubing that aimed the air onto the brakes or the exhaust or up into your face if it were hot...

yes you start with the 968 door handles and mirrors, euro bumper, street front lip, and those side skirts, then you find the right 944 to go in between.

question... in the USA/california is it safe/legal to have a 944 with no sidemarker lights like the orange one above?

Those were on there because the U.S. regs made it mandatory. That being said, some on here have deleted them and not posted any negative experiences.

honestly, if you do it, I doubt there are more than 10 cops in your area that will know that they used to be there. They'll be clueless!

I have a real nice low mileage S2 i may part with if the price (as in i lose a lot, but not a real lot of money) is right.

there is a nice 911 near me on craigslist. there is a nice 911 near me on autotrader, and a nice one on cars.com as well. i can be bought.
