How nicely does this stuff cut? As in, if I were to cut out some....say...numerals, yeah thats it numerals

UPDATE: I'd hold off-- everybody hold off-- on the magnetic stone guards. Yesterday I took them off my car and found a hazy efflorescence on the paint where the magnet stuff had been. They had never been rained on or whatever, so it wasn't water... anyways it rubbed off with a little elbow grease, the paint is fine, evrything normal, but I don't know what it was...

My suspicion is that it might be some sort of chemical off-gassing from the magnetic vinyl sheet. My fear is that having it trapped against the paint long-term might cause permanent damage to the paint.

I plan to sit my stoneguards out in the sun and let them 'cook out' for a week or so, so they finish offgassing whatever that was that was on my paint. I'll then try running them on my car for a couple of days. I'll keep you posted.

I'm a little surprised because I was told this stuff is used to make removable signs for trucks and other business vehicles all the time. Maybe it's not the right raw stock.

I saw a simalar thing on ebay,it was magnetic cover for VW hoods.
Looks like someone already been here done that!

Sticky Vynol seems to do a good job too. (although, cannot be taken off as easily. I am sure)
