Default How do I know which thermofan switch I need?

How do I determine which one to get? What factors do I need to consider? I live in Chicago and only drive in the spring, summer and fall.

1 -Auxiliary Fan Switch (75deg C), 924/924S/Turbo, 944 (through 1986)

2 - Auxiliary Fan Switch (92deg C), 924/924S/Turbo, 944 (through 1986)

Thank you.

Is the 92 degree switch standard? Thanks in advance for your reply.

I think that is standard. If you go with the lower temp thermo switch you'd also want to change the thermostat to the lower temp also.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Your right. I don't have the part #'s, but I used the stat & thermofan switch from a VW rabbit. They are 160 degree F, works great!
