Where do this pieces go? Head rebuild

I had my head rebuilt by a local machine shop. When I started to reassemble the head, I was given a bag of parts which included a small spring, a ball and a fitting.

Can anybody tell me where they go?

Sounds like it might be the oil check valve in the head. Helps keep oil around the lifters after shutdown.

Yes it's the oil return check valve. There's a hole bored in the head for it. Check the PET for the exact placement, or I can check my spare head if you need a better description.

If you can email a better description of the location (bottom of head near front, I assume it is installed ball, spring, fitting)or a picture, that would be great.
