When I was having my Guards Red repainted I noticed that Guards Red and Indian Red were the same color. I think they changed the name at some point.

It does show abit purply in low light but its all sparkly in the day

Nope, I flew in. I made the trip back in December though from Dallas to Raleigh, 1200 miles...solo...brutal. I wish I had the Box once we got to Charlotte Speedway, they had a nice course setup, much better than your average weekend parking lot AutoX. Would have def. participated in the track fun.
I did help clean/prep the 944 for the parade though! Did I catch yours with the Canon? I got quite a few 944/951 pictures.

Guards red is orangier than India Red. IIRC they stopped Guards red in like 1983 or 4.
