I also have 250lb front springs, Koni adjustable on all 4 corners, 205/225 16 street tires, 30mm and 19mm sways, an agressive allignment, and I find little understeer, actualy I would say it is very neutral. I am very pleased with this set up for autocrossing and the street.

anybody have ground control's coilover system? It seems fairly affordable (front and rear coilovers for <$1500 with camber plates...) and looks good on paper

I know that it wouldn't be legal for 944Spec or similar series, but for someone driving on the street or in DE/Autox events with more relaxed rules, it would seem like a good option (assuming spring rates were set properly...250f/375r or so?).

The problem is that this is all conjecture - does anybodyh have real world experience to back up/refute these conclusions?

I don't have experience with this set up; however, in our region the camber plates will put you into the improved class for autoxing and in order to be competitive you would need to do a lot more work to the 44. You bring up a good point though that before mods are done you should determine what you want it for and then choose the right direction to go in. JMO.
