Default Question about the spring clutch.

I've noticed that my clutch pedal vibrates. The whole car doesn't, just the clutch pedal from the time it begins to engage till the time it hits the floor.
Clutch engages and the car shifts fine.
The flywheel was resurfaced, and a new spring centered clutch and PP were installed. New TO bearing was installed.

I've searched and it seems like the spring centered clutches have to break in?
I also saw that it may be caused by a bad slave cylinder. Maybe I didn't get ALL the air out?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Bump because I'm confused!

It doesn't really "vibrate" exactly it's more like a pulsating in and out. Feels like an ABS system that is going crazy.

i get this too. i always figured that its just vibrations transferred thru the fluid...the rubber clutches were good at absorbing vibrations that are now feelable with the spring center..

Well....
As long as I'm not alone. I also think there may be a little bit of lubrication somewhere? I don't know. But everything is brand new in there and I KNOW it is aligned correctly.

Only thing I can think of is that the new PP is faulty. Unless it's actually normal.

Oh, and thanks for responding!

Not related to spring vs. rubber type disc, or slave cyl. Could be bad PP or TO bearing. You can watch flywheel rotate through inspection port(s) to make sure it is not running out, and you can push against release lever by hand if you take out the slave. This might help to diagnose.

Both the PP and TO bearing are brand new? And they both seemed fine when I installed them.
And I'm sorry but I'm not sure what is meant by the flywheel "running out".

Runout on the flywheel is the same as runout on a brake rotor. When the disc becomes warped you get a pulsation due to the movement to engage something on the spinning disc.

Thats what I would vote for as well. If its not hard to shift (from the clutch not releasing all the way) then I would just live with it.

I see.
Well the flywheel was turned and inspected. It does shift fine. So as long as it won't end up destroying everything I won't mind living with it.

My '84 feels like that and it didn't do that with the old rubber clutch. I thought I did something wrong during the installation but I got used to it and forgot about the whole thing.
