Late RWB - broke my horseshoe?
I broke the horseshoe! Was trying to pull a stubborn bearing tonight and bent the front bar of the horseshoe far enough to fracture a weld:
So, in looking through this thread where you guys all have newer SIR tool sets than the one I'm using, it's clear to me that they changed the design. The new front bar on the horseshoe is much more stout.
Here's mine:
Here's the new:
Then, I noticed they changed the numbering and sizes of the pressing plates also.
Here's mine [labeled 7 & 8]:
Here's the new:
Anyone out there want to measure these for me? Mine are approximately 66mm (#7) & 74mm (#8)
Thanks!

Thanks, we'll have them sent in from SIR tomorrow... found out the 12 & 14 are correct, and the set I have is missing parts! oops <img src="graemlins/oops.gif" border="0" alt="[oops]" /> They work okay I guess, unless you have a stubborn bearing like mine. Just gonna get the whole new set so I'm sure it's all up to date.
