on the show they showed the 959 right after that car. and because they look similar, im guessing the 959 was designed to be a less race car and (even thought it sounds crazy) more affordable version of this car.

I thought they showed the 956 or 962 in Rothman's attire right afterwards. Anyway, after a little researching I saw one of these for sale for something like 2.65 million. Another site also said the engines were made in America. Is it even a real Porsche?

I'm not sure about the schuppan, but there was also the dauer 962 Road car. It had a porsche motor and they will still built you one if you ask nice and write a very big check.

Look similar, but it is closer to the original posche design.

I think I have seen the Dauer in the back of Panorama. Another interesting car was the Kramer that had a 962 engine in it. There was one in Bruce Anderson's book.

I vaguely remember finding a website that showed they were building 962s from scratch using Porsche/Holbert's plans in Canada? Costs about $200k or so? Anyone have a link to this website?

There was something on the factory's website about buying a remanufactured 962, but I just looked and it is not there anymore.

Notice that the inboard dampers on the car in the link appear to be Koni 3012's, like what Paragon sells for the rear of a 944.

Pushrods in motors suck, but when used on suspensions, they kick ***!

I don't think those are push-rods though. Looks like the suspension arms are pushing directly on the dampers. WOuld be funny if those really were the same shocks that Paragon sells.. heh, heh...
