Battery Relocation. How about the rear passenger-side wheel well?

RHD cars have the battery in the same position, only reversed to the other side of the car.

And if you think the positive terminal position was bad enough, the genius that installed the alarm for me fitted the metal bonnet-open sensor right in front of the battery, drilled through the front wall of the battery tray, pointing toward the battery. Now there is an inch between the positive terminal and this too!

Needless to say, moving it is on my list, but perhaps I might try adding a cover over the battery/blower area like the later cars...
