Default Early A/C Belt Length for Retrofit

It sounds like using a shorter serpentine belt will give enough clearance between the A/C compressor and the alternator to allow for a new low side r134a fitting. Does anyone know what size is appropriate. I believe stock is 1005mm(39.5 inches).

Thanks in advance.
