That makes 14...lookin good...

When we had 6 cars at the last dyno day we were done by around noon I think??

If it comes down to it and there's too many people...it'll go by whoever signed up first. I hope that wont be an issue though.

Raj, will you want to do any tuning? If so what fuel controller/engine managment are you running?

Mustang Magic wants $1200 for the day with an a/f chart for everybody...

We split that up between however many cars there are.

So if we have 12 cars, that comes out to the same $100/car... They can do up to I think around 20 cars in a day.

Rick wasn't available at Deman (wasn't there), so I'll let you guys know what the planned date is tomorow probably.

So, there's 14 people/cars interested...all of which probably wont be able to make it, so at this point I lean strongly towards Deman. Any objections?

im still down for wherever, no map though

my birthday is the 12th, maybe i will get a different toy to try out on my car by then!

do you think if i get sfr to make me a test pipe and a side pipe (exhaust straight out the side of teh car behind the front wheel) in time it is possible to do a run with the cat, then remove all my exhaust parts in their parking lot or something for my next run?

Possible, but a little difficult to do in the parking lot. Bolt-on is never truly bolt on, there are usually some fitment issues, and it’s tough while you’re laying on your back. At least that’s my experience, with just about everything I’ve done. If you want to give it a shot, I’ll lend a helping hand. I’d be interested to see the results.

Adrial, I am running stock dme/klr setup with some custom burnt guru chips that I would like to test out. Only mod I would possibly make is maybe play a little with fuel pressure if its dangerously lean somewhere just to make it safe and then have danno burn me a new set of chips.
Its almost like a stock 944 turbo with Maf but with a 3.0 bottom end, thats all.
I prefer getting a place for the whole day especially if we get wide band with it as well. I am sure we can get a few more people if we try to push. Only thing is how long do we want to stick around for.
If teh price goes down, I am sure, more people would be interested but I am not sure if thats a good thing.

i guess my cat would end up in deman's trash and i would ride home with my test pipe.

Adrial, my attendance is contingent on my car being ready (with a few miles on it), I hope you won't be doing this TOO soon. I AM looking forward to putting the new motor on a dyno though...

hrm an extra $100 to get dyno numbers for tim's new side pipe... maybe he will give me an extra special price on the parts

It was consecutive pulls. They have to jack up the rear, remove the wheels, slide the apparatus and bolt it to the hubs, it's pretty involved. We'd be there for a weekend if 10 guys wanted 3 individual pulls each. And they don't have a large staging area, it was a little like an indoor Manhattan parking lot, with everything getting moved back and forth.

Adrial, this time around could I be one of the first up? Last time I didn't get on until after noon.

Damian,

Sure, not a problem.

Dan,

They're right...it'll be 3 consecutive pulls...there's time to futz with a fuel controller or something like that...but unless you install the exhaust while they go to lunch...its not really doable as one customer.

Adrial, we should come to a consensus on the pull order now, so there’s no confusion as to who goes next once we’re there. I suggest we go by the reply order in this post, with the exception of damian who’s already asked to go first.
