Hey ,
Here are some pics of my car ready for paint, Im not a big fan of white,So im going to go with black or that lovely graphite metallic from 87 .

Is this what you're looking for?

<img src="http://home.earthlink.net/~chrisrieman/images/944t/left-side3-web.jpg" alt=" - " />

<img src="http://home.earthlink.net/~chrisrieman/images/944t/right-side-angle-web.jpg" alt=" - " />

<img src="http://home.earthlink.net/~chrisrieman/images/944t/right-side-web.jpg" alt=" - " />

<img src="http://home.earthlink.net/~chrisrieman/images/944t/back-web.jpg" alt=" - " />

<img src="http://home.earthlink.net/~chrisrieman/images/944t/front1-web.jpg" alt=" - " />

The shots of the left and right side of the car are probably the most accurate as you can see the dark gray color -- with the first photo being the most accurate of them all. The other pictures kind of look black because I took the photos in the evening but the car does feel darker when the sun goes down. In the evening and at different angles the paint almost has a really cool tinge thrown in. Very hard to explain but you wont regret it. I highly recommend if you got cookies or Fuchs.

By the way, Graphite Metallic wasnt offered in 87, just 85 and 86, hence only on Turbos in 86.

Yes That was a typo.86 I meant.
When I went to the shop they only had porsche down to 87 so we had to search back a few books for the 86 to take a look at the graphite,lol.
Thank for the pictures ill let you guys know what final color I decide of course

I believe the paint code for graphite is L B7V. Here's some more pics:

Replicas of 964 Turbo 3.6 wheels. I believe Kinesis Supercups are also very similar.

jurg, graphite is a good choice. You get the good looks of a dark color, with the easiness to keep clean of a metallic finish. Ask me how I know!

Sami, any updates on your "restoration"?

Luis, yep.. saw the car two days ago (visited the shop to drop off a paper with some nice alignment values I want). Body panels are now on and as soon as they get the fenders rolled it's ready to be painted. I'm going to call them later today just to ask how it's going... probably won't be ready for the weekend, but I'm keeping my hopes high for the next week!!
