Exclamation 944 model found

I just read someones signiture that had a 944 model petition... Well I found one. I went home over this past weekend and went to the store with my mother, and while she was finding food, I found the car.
<img src="http://www.eng.usf.edu/~cular/model.jpg" alt=" - " />

Sorry for the poor image, free camera you know.

The details: It is a 944 Cabrio, doors,hood,seats move, and the top can be removed. It is a pull back, and let it drive car, spring loaded. On the bottom it has "Welly No. 9033 Porsche 944" I found it in Albertsons. It was the only 944, but they also had a number of 911's and some other cars. Oh and the display had some fighter jets as well. They were at the front of the store by the checkout lines.

I am shopping only at Albertsons now. Oh, there is a warning on the cars, Not for children under 3years old. I think most of us will be fine, but some may need adult supervision (read significant other...not a Porsche-nut)

Now the best part only $1.99. <img border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" title="" src="graemlins/bigok.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />

Unfortunatley the petition in my sig is for 1:18 scale 944s (about 8" long)

There are lots of smaller 944 models around tho..

Hahahaha, dlefko, i am in the same boat as you. that's hilarious.

I have a model of a 1986 porsche 944 trubo. It is 1:24 scale.The exact car as mine save for the turbo part. it's a Not 1:18, but it's still a good size. When i get ahold of a digi camera i'll try and post it.

Cheers,
Ryan
