Well, let's see!
Panorama, Excellence and I usually pick up 911 & Porsche World (British mag, excellent!) at the news stand. I also subscribe to Super Chevy and Fine Homebuilding. I just let my Autoweek subscription lapse. I know, too many mags!

Cool

Subscribed to:
Excellence
Panorama
Road & Track
Automobile Magazine
European Car
--
911 & Porsche World (I buy it at the magazine stand. Less expensive than a subscription, believe it or not)
--
Every now and then I pick up:
Forza
Classic Cars
CAR
Kit Car Magazine (still wanting to build a 550 Spyder )
and others depending on the content...

The ones I read at B&N while drinking a cup of coffee...
GT Purely Porsche (no way I am paying 10.00 for a magazine...)

I've been in GRM a coupla times, one time with pictures of my car...

<a href="http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/org/sae/images/memrides/grmarticle.jpg" target="_blank"></a>

Its the only mag I subscribe to. If I go to borders I'll check out Racecar Engineering, and yes I'll admit it, I read my friend's subscription to SCC every month.

GRM had an interesting comparison between the 944 and the 911 this month. Asked the question is a 911 worth THREE 944s? Answer was yes and no. But an interesting read.

Don't subscribe to any right now, but I frequently pick up:

Excellence
911 & Porsche World
Road & Track
Grassroots Motorsports
Racecar Engineering
Autosport
F1 Racing Magazine
Shifter Kart Illustrated

I used to read Autoweek religiously, but at some point, I just stopped caring.

Don't buy Top Gear. It is awful, awful, awful. You know why...

Because it is like torture to read about all the really neat cars available in UK and realize we cannot get them here in the US. And the diesel powered cars over there, WOW!!! Lower emissions than most gas powered vehicles, higher bhp than most US diesel models and wildly high torque, really, really high fuel economy and will basically run on cooking oil!

Subscriptions/regularly bought mags:

Grassroots Motorsports - Best all around car magazine out there - esp if you are into racing.

Racecar Engineering - Very cool if you are into the hardcore racing technology. Imformative but very expensive since it is imported from the UK

Excellence - Believe it or not, they have had the most 944 tech articles out of any magazine out there over the past couple of years - timing belt, clutch, and CV replacement to name a few.

European Car - Good review of new cars as well as some good project cars.

Sport Compact Car - Yeah I know, most Porsche guys scoff at this but they have had some terrific technical articles like the Squish Bang Blow series, and some great project cars. Especially relavent if you have a Turbo.

Dan - the article that had you in the sidebar (that you posted) was actually the FIRST time I had any thoughts about Porsche... IT's been just about a year now (since that issue - right?) and looky me, owner..

FWIW - I pay for NO subscriptions but get about 1000 rags a month (ok, so maybe only 100~120 realistically). Why spend money on what you can get for free? All were offers available online and open to the general public. I like GRM the best of any of the car rags though.

DanG,
I read that GRM article about 100 times. No, more than 100 times. Then I got a Porsche for myself. It's a great article but has a mistake in it. It claims that the 951 engine will be fine if the TB snaps. It would suck if someone went with that article in GRM as their only source of information. Still, I take nothing away from GRM they simply have a different approach.
