Thats no turbo,it does have some turbo body parts but as BeerBurner noticed it has no nose or hood vents; it does look to have the Saratoga roof. The engine not running is the big ?.

LOL... I thought he'd corrected the mislabeling. Definitely no turbo.
No Saratoga top either; at best, a factory non-sunroof car that's been butchered, sadly.
All in all, a pretty, overpriced POS. Might make a half-decent racecar, though, if you sank money into it.

...but....but....
It has two turbo decals, one on the front bumper (!) and one on the back! How could it not be a turbo??
Wonder if the owner really thought it was a turbo because of the stickers?
Or if he stuck those stickers on and is trying to fool some other person that won't look under the hood and notice that there is no turbo?

Looks nice, but engine not running is a big issue...
not to say that its not salvageable (non-running cars can be...I bought mine in a non-running condition, but that's a long story). It does have nice looking bodywork (I like the front spoiler - plenty of room for brake ducts and air for the radiator), so it could be a decent starting point for a track car (rebuild the engine, add a turbo and motec EFI, swap in 86 951 suspension, brakes, hubs, and 5-bolt wheels)
probably not worth $3k though (and I'm not affiliated with the seller either)

are you sure that's not a turbo? I mean look, it's got the 'Turbo' logo all over it.
No one would put a turbo emblem on their ride if it wasn't a turbo, would they????????

OK, some clarity here...it's definitely not a 931 if it's indeed a 1978 car, as 931's didn't come out until 1979. However, that doesn't mean it's not a turbo. It is certainly possible that the car has either a BAE or a Windblown aftermarket turbo kit, which were available at that time. I have seen at least 2 or 3 pre-1980 cars that were fitted with the BAE setup, but I've never seen a Windblown one in photos or in person, only read about them in articles. Might be worth taking a peek at since I'm not too far away. If I'm able to see it in person, I'll report back.

FWIW, one of the po's of my '79 924 had a KKK put on, no nose vents but did get a NACA duct on the hood.
