You may want to post the VINs for "positive" ID (if they're crackheads, they're probably not smart enough to switch VIN plates) in case someone sees it on eBay or craigslist
Also, call your insurance company (even if they weren't insured) and see if they'll enter the VINs on the NICB database
Dunno if NICB gets data from law enforcement or not (I think they do) but it'll be faster if an insuranc company puts it out themeselves.
Also, the theft might be covered by homeowner's insurance

Insurance is picking it up, the gate to the place is lock but thery drove through the fence. My mom is down there now, they ransacked the house and stole quite a bit of stuff had some stuff boxed up like they're coming back. She setup some boards with long nails in them where thy've been coming through the fence and covered them up. They're leaving the lights off and parked the truck in the woods hoping the bastards come back, they have two AK-47's (the real ones) and a .50 cal machine gun ready!

I had people going into my garage stealing stuff years ago and 3 of us hid all night and watched them come back. We called the cops and they never came after 2 hours (said they thought it was E. PCH instead of W. PCH... some BS eh?) so the thieves came and left. The next night, we staked it out again and this time, we gunpointed the 2 guys and had them against the wall before calling the cops. They showed up within 3 minutes with about 12 squad cars and a helicopter. We had everything from a calico m950 to ak47s. 2 days later, someone firebombed the front of the house in retaliation.

Firebombing etc is why I get nervous about taking things into my own hands like that. Seems that low-life thugs that steal things only think about themselves and not how they are affecting other people's lives. So when they get caught, instead of realizing that THEY made the mistake, they act like infants and blame everyone else for their problems and retaliate. I had my 928 broken into by punks years ago, caught them in the act and chased them down in the 928. I then ID'd several of them and I had to put the 928 into hiding for fear they would come back and wreck the car since I got them arrested. Criminals are the worst.

Nothing like rocking a .50 to scare the **** out of someone. You roll around a corner in an Up Armorer hummer or MRAP and people tend to pay attention.
Have you seen what a .50 will do to a car? It's pretty impressive.

Haven't shot any cars but what it to one of the gators in our pond was wicked as well as an old tree I shot up. Hell you don't need a chainsaw
