Question A/C shop recommendation on Long Island

My car's A/C is definately not performing to spec, compressor etc seems to be OK, so I suspect a recharge is needed.

Can anyone recommend a shop in Western Suffolk county or Nassau county for a r12 recharge or a change to r-134a?.

TIA

my buddy mike cooper at cove tire in glen cove converted my car last year. it blows cold and he did it while i waited on a saturday.

tell him tom from the lodge sent you. it came to about 350 including parts.

BTW when he did the ac on the porsche he mounted four tires on the legend coupe. his guy put the car on the rack, and it was within spec. i told the guy there was no way my acura with 60k driven on the van wyck and grand central into harlem every day was within spec. bottom line he took the machinery off, put it on again...within spec. charge for alignment zero! he coulda charged me and i would have been happy.

good luck.
