Clark's Garage should have wiring diagrams of the AFM. Don't know where you'd find the same for the Link though...if all else fails you could break out the multimeter there

in general though, you're going to need to get power and ground to the Link system and plug the Link's output wire in to the AFM signal wire. Basically, you're trying to trick the DME into thinking that there's still an AFM there. Hope that helps a little

does late 944 n/a afm work on 951?

There is the instruction to the Link AFM if that helps anyone know what wires come from the factoy AFM that would connect to the Link AFM.

BTW, i have a 86 944 N/A if that helps...
