Adrial, I think you're confusing the Turbo with the track car owned by Ray of 968.net, which IS for sale.

The 904 was fiberglass from the factory, so the car could well be original. AFAIK there is/was a company in England reproducing them, and not cheap. I swear on a stack of Bibles that I saw one when I was a youngster in the early 80s at a K-Mart parking lot, but could have been dreaming.

Nice pics, I really wish I could have attended. Next year!

Cool

Hello everyone. This is Mike from NYC. I am the owner of the white 951 with the RUF wheels. Thank you for posting that picture of my car. I would love to hear from any front engined owners in the NYC area, or from anywhere really.

Hey mike...glad you decided to follow rennlist a little closer.

May 5th there's an autocross at the meadowlands...

Also I'm thinking about a NYC metro area meetup at the pallisades center sometime in may. We could do the meetup on may 5th if there's enough people interested...

I have seen pics of a couple PH 968 T's and they all look pretty similar . I wouldn't mind having any of them, of course

Ed- sure enough i stand corrected, all fiberglass. Dug up the excellence from February, the body weighed only 180 pounds and the whole thing was 1400 pounds! Must have hauled with 200+ hp from the 3 liter sc engine!

Well, most people only get to see the tail of the shark, particularly 911 drivers.

Beauty, of course, is in the eye of the beholder...
