Tim,
The 904 was the real thing. I heard the owner say he had found original molds for the doors when he was in England, he wasn't quite happy with their fit and he's having new ones made. They looked pretty good to me... He also autocrosses the car every now and then.

I was parked next to that 904 for a while. I heard people saying that he did auotcross it and some people say it was fiberglass. Either way that thing was sweet! I got a new set of wheels and tires for my 944, which makes of world of difference in looks and handling. The new dunlops are much louder then my old yokohams though. Cant wait till next year!

I really like it! When I get my 928, it'll probably an S4 or GTS model with the more pointed nose. Then I'll add a dorsal fin on top and some teeth in the grill for fun. Maybe even some fins on the sides of the doors!

Hey guys!
Like I said I had a great time. I only stayed at the autocross for a short time, but it was great. Like I said I have about 80 pics that I will upload Monday night when I get to my house in TN. It was great to see some of you all!

Hey Tazman,
That's me in the sixth photo (wearing pink Porsche shirt). 'Course you know you're going to have to pay me a royalty (Hey, I was wearing an official Porsche shirt, so technically, I'm copyright protected, but I'll let you slide I look like I'm 300lbs in that pic! How did you do that? One of those "fish-eye" lenses or something?

Less time in the 944, and on Rennlist, more time on treadmill

...schmoly!
I love the sight of dozens of Porsches - even if they're just parked! <img src="graemlins/r.gif" border="0" alt="[king]" /> <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

Found it... I think. If this is the car:
Then it was a feature car in the Oct 2001 P-world. Here's the cover shot:
And, here's the engine:
The article stated 420HP/448TQ on pump gas at 1 bar. Some other specs:
8.9:1 compression, 951S pistons, 16V head, O-ringed, custom cam grind (no Variocam), 928S4 chain tensioner, custom intake manifold, 951 throttle, K29-8 turbo, customized 951 intercooler, custom APE chip.
Other than that, there's some basic setup info: car has Big Reds, Bilstein coil-overs, M030 stabilizers. It's a PowerHaus job... Arizona based car... purchased for $9k then converted for undisclosed amount... the only mention is that it "is expensive".
Mmmm, yummy! Pretty too.

Nice pics--looks like it was a nice event. Next year I will have to remind all my friends that if their wedding is scheduled during Hershey--I'm going to Hershey.
On a side note, I know the owner of the Silver-rosish 87 turbo with the Euro-front plate. He belongs to the ARPCA and his car is sweet--its only got about 40K on it and is clean as a pin. He is always a top finisher during the PVGP concours and a hell of a nice guy.
