Default Need a camshaft - 85.5

Anyone have a camshaft they would sell for a reasonable price?

Finally got around to taking the girlfriend's engine apart to see what all the noise was about. Discovered the slot for the woodruff key has basically disintegrated. Evidently, this allowed the cam sproket to move relative to the cam and make a clacking sound at low revs.

Can't imagine the price of a new one is particularly reasonable. A good used one should work just fine. Goes without saying - we'll need the woodruff key too.

Thanks...

The woodruff key is the little piece of metal that sticks in the little slot machined into the camshaft that prevents the sprocket from moving with respect to the cam. Will post a picture - if I can find one.

Edit: Item #14 in exploded view. See photo - it's the little "tab" sticking out of the cam (not the bolts that are circled).

How much do you need for it?

Scott,
If you can't work something out with lovep-car, let me know. I have a couple of good cams and keys and sprocket if you need.

Todd,

Thanks for the offer. Will take you up on it, if need be.

Also, can you ship the lovely lady in orange at the same time?

I assume it's your wife. Very nice.
