Post On reliability and other issues.

Ok heres the deal. I have enough money now to buy a 944. But do i buy a cheap n/a and put in a corvette engine? Or buy a 951 and leave it stock?

OR

Buy a n/a 944 and also buy an R1?
Or a 944s and also buy an R1?

Now about reliability.
How reliable is the:
944?
944s?
944s2?
951?

Thank you for your help.

If you want a muscle car, look for a 951. The 944 is a great road car the way it is - no need to screw it up. Porsches are designed, not stuck together - something like 20% of a 951 is upgraded from a 944.
