Have you looked into the one Stien has for sale? I think it has everything you're looking for, plus an LSD. Seems like a good price too, if you can get up to Mass. to get it.

i got a red S2. late dash, bigger motor, M030 konis all around, weltmeister sways, and a brand new clutch to name a few things.

if she who must be obeyed gives me the OK tonight i will be on a road trip in a few days to pick up my next toy. want to move it so i know exactly how much $$ i will be losing.

Ive seen the one Stien is selling it is perfect execpt it has a late dash.

I have an 83 with 66k.. its red on brown linen.. Has 16'' Phonies though. Let me know if you are interested. Just did the belts/rollers.. New front brakes.. and some other minor stuff.

Yeah Mike I seen your car, its a little higher priced then what im looking for. I remember this car when it was $1,500. I think it needed work though. I wish I was looking then.

I dont know. I guess im weird. I always have liked the early yellow gauges with the sweeping tach.

Curious about the Brown Linen; is that the name of the material and did it come in any other colors besides lt.brown/tan?

I bought the car for $1500 but put some money/time into it so it is once agian running and ready to go. I used to part a lot of cars out but now I am trying to fix them up and save them whole.

Check out my thread to see some pictures.. I also did body work to the rear 1/4 that was dented up. Its a pretty solid car as of now.
